Happy New Year! Let's begin again.

What's new since last we spoke? Since it's been a little over a year, quite a bit. But what I had to say in the last entry was important and I've been busy. So there. Apology accepted?

Living in ShangHai's like living on the set of "Blade Runner". Not infrequently does life resemble Dick, but it's exceptional here. Dirty neon, future tech, architecture that's not necessarily a good idea, but vivid - no complaints. Got a Master's degree. Got a Shanghainese fiancee. Got a couple of raises at work but no new title to tell. So it ain't gonna get on the res, 'cept as a one-liner. But rest assured, I done a bit there, kept busy. Still work for Steve's NGOs too.

Doing a bit more here. Working on the ethics section, putting my last entry and all other pertinent blogs and papers over there. Putting all my more technical papers in techtalk. Made some little fruits of my dissertation labors available since I don't think the UofL wants me to publish the whole mess for two years. Slowly but surely pulling all the old stuff into the MCMS.
